Open-Angle Glaucoma

The most common type of glaucoma is open-angle glaucoma. For those with this type of glaucoma, the fluid that would normally flow put of the eye cannot get through the drainage canals which are not working well. This causes a gradual build up of pressure in the eye, slowly damaging the optic nerve fibres and reducing your field of vision.
